A somewhat un-Gandhian Gandhian keeping the Gandhian spirit alive in India? A self-centered middle class fighting a very real scourge? Hazare and his movement are rife with contradictions. And yet in the end, this is not something to be scoffed at. Hazare is keeping the activist flame going in India (he's out of jail and has resumed his anti-corruption fast), trying in his own quasi-Gandhian way to make India a better place. Gandhi would perhaps be exasperated and happy--both at the same time.
