I don't give a flying f*ck who he's getting the encouragement and support for his cowardly, ass-backwards can't-do-ism from. He needs an intervention.

It's great that Joe's a nice guy with empathy, but that won't cut it come 2022 or 2024. He needs to be leader with guts and courage. If he uses a screamingly obvious overturnable rejection of anunelected parliamentarian as an excuse for not moving forward on the $15 minimum wage, he is screwing tens of millions of the people who voted for him and the Democratic party will pay dearly, as will the world. This weak, stupid approach will hurt the entire world by handing the control of the US over to the Trump cult.

I know Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema are also obstacles, but they can be negotiated with. If Biden doesn't try with them, he is a coward, a failure and he doesn't deserve the job we gave him.

I think we need, probably this week, to go into the streets to show Biden and Kamala Harris how important this is. Millions marched the day after Trump's inauguration in the women's march. These protests would be for the $15 minimum wage but also for the future-- for 2022 and 2024. Because if he is not turned around, his probably Hillary inspired can't-do-ism will be a huge betrayal that will probably not be reversible. The $1400 check will not be enough.

The world can't afford can't-do-ism now. Joe or Kamala, with or without Joe, can still turn this around. But if the Ron Klain message that they've given up is the final message, it will be a disaster. And maybe it's a sign that Klain is not good enough. He's either encouraging or enabling that message and either way it is a catastrophic failure or, maybe an intentional decision to betray the majority of people who support the $15 minimum wage and all the Democrats who voted for Biden and all the Democratic members of congress.

I hope Joe figures this out, and we can help him to do that.
