Sure the capitalist system in America is failing the majority and the middle class is shrinking. The ruling elite in this plutocracy of oligarchs could care less of the plight most people in America are facing.
One should never pronounce anything as hopeless. But America...this arrogant empire it's become is headed for the scrapheap where all other failed empires before it reside.
We'll likely self-implode once the dollar as the world's reserve currency is replaced by the Chinese Yuan or when most countries trade with their own currencies bypassing the dollar dominated financial system. With a national debt over $32 trillion we'll be in default likely bringing on a worldwide economic depression.
To most Americans they'll be in shock thinking America would always prevail. They've never lived through a 1930's like economic depression.
Unfortunately I believe that's where we're headed.
