This vile bigoted role that those who consider themselves our bosses is a threat
not only to African Americans but anyone who dares to resist their authority.
But dissent is an American right. Disobeying people who think they can control
you is precisely how you can avoid being controlled. It's the willing
subjugation to this authority that only invites more abuses of power and
throttling of disobedient players and anyone else they can't own.
The age of slavery is over. No American has to give in or give up what is their
eternal right in order to please anyone else. The right of free speech doesn't
mean you accept the exercise of the right--in this case the kneeling of
athletes--but rather that you demand that right be exercised free of
governmental and other interference.
