You can also look for an organization among hundreds of "peace organizations," "non-violence organizations," "anti-war organizations," "anti-nuclear organizations," etc. (pick your rubric). Many if not most of these will also want your money more than your mouth, which doesn't make the choice any easier unless you are a millionaire and want to contribute to a hundred different and probably equally worthy causes and orgs. I am allergic to this capitalist paradigm because I think the best-argued causes and organizations should win out, not the best-funded ones, and these are certainly not always (or ever?) the same.
