I think Roger Ailes learned his lesson of faux "God, country, family" very well from the likes of Salazar, and is brilliant at adapting them to the technology, visual image, and emotional suggestiveness of television. Ailes has built an audience of people who don't want to hear the news, but who want to hear their brainwashed biases confirmed.
So I encourage all and everyone to donate to help the victims of Haiti, but we must remember that we too here in America are facing a social, political earthquake of extreme danger. The Republicans and tea party leaders want to create chaos, because most people want a return to social order, a firm leader who will put order back in their lives and simplify their daily choices. That is what Hitler took advantage of in the Weimar Republic.
Roger Ailes is the "wizard" who is doing all the prep work for the GOP -- and from the influence of FOX Fraudcasting on a segment of the American population, a fine job he is doing.
Unfortunately, it's to the detriment of those who really value democracy.
