As the "Trump Make America Great Again Committee ('TMAGAC') website states:
"Contributions to TMAGAC made by an Individual/Federal Multicandidate Political Committee will be allocated according to the following formula:
"75% of each contribution first to Save America, up to $5,000/$5,000, then to DJTP's Recount Account, up to a maximum of $2,800/$5,000.
"25% of each contribution to the RNC's Operating account, up to a maximum of $35,500/$15,000."
Not one cent goes to the so-called "legal defense fund."
The Associated Press reports:
"Like many hallmarks of the Trump presidency, the messages contained all-caps lettering and blatant mistruths about voter fraud during the November 3 election. They also mislead supporters about where the money would go... The unusual way the Trump campaign is divvying up the contributions has drawn scrutiny from election watchdogs, who say Trump and his family are poised to financially benefit from the arrangement."
Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich explains:
"Trump certainly wants to keep the money flowing, and a leadership PAC is an easy way to do it. Trump's PAC can be used to fund a lavish post-presidency lifestyle, as leadership PACs can use donors' funds for personal expenses, like personal travel and events at Trump properties, while campaign committees cannot."
There's something else for which Trump can use the money.
Running for president again in four years.
He's already talking about it.
Donald Trump may be a terrible businessman.
He may be a terrible president.
One thing he's good at, though, is conning the pants off people and riding off with their money into the sunset.
Many who might be struggling to put food on the table, have lost their jobs, are swimming in debt, are dipping into their bank accounts because the grifter-in-chief has convinced them he "won the election," and they are integral to his eventual triumph over the "liberal-elite-radical-left-socialist-deep-state-fake-news-establishment" conspiring to take him down.
Wake someone up before he's made off with everything he can steal.
