How can this be achieved? Given human greed, and given the current power structure, which is so invested in nuclear energy and in war, how can the situation be turned around? Can we get any clues from wisdom of the past?
Here is a Native American prophecy, made 200 years ago:
prophesied that one day, because of the white mans' or Yo-ne-gis' greed,
there would come a time, when the fish would die in the streams, the birds
would fall from the air, the waters would be blackened, and the trees would no longer be, mankind as we would know it would all but cease to exist.""
This part of the prophecy is amazingly accurate. The BP oil spill last year blackened the waters of the Gulf, showing that the prophecy refers to the time we live in. Reports of fish dying and birds falling from the sky are common, and the forests are being decimated. Many humans today are psychologically and socially crippled by our disharmony with nature.
It continues:
""There would come a time when the "keepers of the legend, stories, culture rituals, and myths, and all the Ancient Tribal Customs" would be needed to restore us to health. They would be mankind's key to survival, they were the "Warriors of the Rainbow". Has this second, hopeful part of the prophecy been fulfilled?
