The asteroid Ceres, the ancient grain mother, is in a positive relationship to Saturn in Libra and can open us to these ancient ways of understanding how the environment holds all the answers to so many of our modern problems.   Isn't it time to listened to the Land rather than ravage it for our own use?   Hours after this full Moon, Venus in Capricorn challenges Saturn in Libra to shift our priorities and restrategize.   Start, or deepen, this shift in your own life.   Then see where you can take it "to the streets' in non-violent, inventive ways to get others to join in a new vision which is sustainable and balanced.

With Jupiter in Aries challenging Pluto in Capricorn for the third and last time on February 25th, we are challenged to keep an open mind if we want to lead.   Real leaders, teachers, parents lead by example.   The Sabian symbol for Jupiter at 7*Aries is: A man succeeds in expressing himself simultaneously in two realms.   This is the union of opposites, the alchemical joining of head and heart.   The Sabian symbol for Pluto at 7* Capricorn is: A veiled prophet speaks, seized by the power of Spirit. This symbol speaks to the need to speak of the new vision that is unfolding.

So the question is, are you ready to join together at the Round Table?   If so, raise your hand if you ever wanted to go on the Grail quest.   Guess what?   It's time.   We can continue to sit back and think that things are going to get better become someone else is taking care of it, or we can do something because we're the ones who see what needs to be done.   Like the Knights of the Round Table, we can do what's right.   It's time to invest some quality time in your schools, your towns, your environment, your spirituality, your art.   Find like-minded people and see how you can collaborate to use your combined knowledge, gifts and talents to tell a new story and to help others in these times of transition.   Isn't that what all responsible people are called to do in times of crisis?

Perceval and the Quest of the Holy Grail

I just heard Jean Houston tell this story -- so beautifully.   If you haven't heard of Jean Houston, look her up.   To me, she is another great teacher like C.G. Jung.   The story that goes with this full Moon is the story of Perceval's quest for the Holy Grail.   I will be telling this story at the Bard's Grove this Friday night, February 18th at 7pm PST/8pmMST/9/pm CST/10pm EST.

The story of the search for the Holy Grail is a story about rediscovering the power of the Imagination.   It is in the feminine dimensions of life -- the intuitive, mystical, emotional brain -- that we can find the power to heal the Wasteland.   It is a story about a great wounding in the culture, for the King has a wound that never heals and that leads to the Wasteland -- rivers are polluted and dried up, trees die, food is poisoned, life is full of death. Sound familiar?   The Grail hero comes to the castle and sees the Grail procession, but he doesn't ask the question "Whom does this Grail serve?"   because he doesn't trust his own curiosity and desire to know.   He thinks he has to follow the rules.   So in the morning, he is kicked out of the castle and spends years wandering the land, protecting the defenseless and righting wrongs.   Until once again he finds the Grail castle.   This time, he asks the question and the King is healed and the land is restored to fertility and growth.

We must acknowledge that the Grail is a symbol for our creative essence, and it is not meant for our own selfish use, but is a spiritual gift that must be shared with the world.   That means, stop using this creative power to create personal "abundance'=lots of money for yourself.   This power is a secret because it is meant to be used for the good of the world, not for selfish reasons.   As we pour out the blessings of our inner Grail for the good of the world, we will find the real abundance of life.

The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 30* Aquarius is: Deeply rooted in the past of a very ancient culture, a spiritual brotherhood in which many individual minds are merged into the glowing light of a unanimous consciousness is revealed to one who has emerged successfully from his metamorphosis.    We have arrived at the time when we have to remember our spiritual roots and see ourselves in terms of the Big Story.   With Uranus' entry into Aries in less than a month, we are feeling the call to a new identity that is part of this big story.   What archetype is calling your name?   And what group of like-minded souls are you called to work with?    Now is a good time to get a reading or do you own inner work to access the energies that move your soul and make up your essence.

The Sabian Symbol for the Moon at 30* Leo is: An unsealed letter.   This symbolizes the realization by each individual that all thoughts and all messages are to be shared with all humanity.   No more "secrets'.   It is this revealing of secrets by Wikileaks and other sites that are giving people the power to take back their freedoms.

Well, we're receiving the call to action and many of you are responding.   As you get closer to your purpose, you will be hit by synchronicities, you'll meet the right people and be available at the right times.   It's a magical time to be alive!

Enjoy this full Moon -- Leo likes to have fun, so find your group and play creatively!

Blessed Be,

Cathy
