Despite ideas of using force through foreign agents, I don't consider it plausible that Donald Trump, despite his crazy strategies, would dare to invade Venezuela.
Upon such an action, his reelection hopes would be damaged in the eyes of American voters, who would see a military adventure against Venezuela very badly, given that the country is causing the US no harm and is no threat to the people of the United States. Those who suffer the most from these impulsive wars are the children of poor Americans.
Likewise, apart from the US, no other country on the continent would dare enter Venezuelan territory without the direct backing of Trump and his troops, as it has been shown that they mere cowards who hide behind US imperialism.
Notes[1] Mexico had previously left the treaty in 2002, while Cuba also formally left the treaty in 2012. Having been suspended from the OAS between 1962 and 2009, the Caribbean island was effectively not bound by the TIAR during these years either.
