"You're now seeing political leaders at all levels understand" the case for a tax holiday on repatriated foreign profits. "I think this one has well over a 60 percent probability of being resolved in a positive way," John T. Chambers, CEO, Cisco Systems

Bloomberg -- "Some of the companies with the most money squirreled away say they're prepared to bring a big chunk of it home. All they want in return is a temporary tax break that wouldn't cost the U.S. Treasury anything, since its money that would otherwise be kept abroad and not taxed at all. The tax break would actually raise billions of dollars from applying the reduced tax rate to the money that's been repatriated."

The final act of the blood purge, filling the tub in which to drown government in, to continue shifting the tax burden to the still working and the poor, Johnny Boehner took an ax and gave the economy forty whacks and when he saw what he had done Obama gave it forty one.

Neither airliners nor tall buildings this time, nor box cutters or scary Al Qaeda but the results are the same. To use fear to frighten the public, to threaten the public and to hold them hostage until corporate America gets what it wants. I know that Eric Canter is holding treasury bills and playing them short in the market but the amounts of a few thousands of dollars are far too small to worry about by Washington standards. What of others, what of those other Washington insiders who have witnessed this soap opera develop, will they ever be investigated?

This is the face of modern American Fascism, a government which works at the behest of the wealthy and powerful and works against the interests of the body politic as a whole. A government with little interest in unemployment, little interest in declining home ownership, little interest in declining auto ownership or declining wages for the workers of this country. Its only real concern is to cut taxes for corporate America and to play out a melodrama, where we cut debt on the backs of the weak and cut taxes for the rich.

In this way Mr. K. will challenge the world!
