Do YOU have any ideas on issues where progressives and teapartiers (no, you can't have this conversation and call them teabaggers) might find common ground?
The goal is to force the corporation-owned members of congress to take care of we-the-people. Maybe we can do it.
I've long wanted to see right wingers wake up. So they're now doing it--
not the way I wanted it, but it's a start. They're not happy with the
GOP. We're not happy with the Dems or Obama-- at least in a lot of ways.
Let's find what kinds of opportunities there are for working with them.
Note that I don't say "if." I am sure if we work at it, we can find real
opportunities to use our anger, our outrage together. We WILL have to
get past the ill feelings and differences.
We can do this. We need to do this. I am going to start planning a local
meeting today. How about you? Take a leadership role in a small way. We
can do something here.
