GSD doesn't take into account any of the people
it wants to "benevolently" incorporate under its auspices.
It doesn't care whether they want to be part of it or not
or if they'd rather administer their own local economies
to prevent their being subject to the engineered chaos
of the machinations of the international economy.
GSD, like neoliberalism, sees the market as god,
directing production, distribution and consumption,
and dictating that life be centered on market activity,
but allowing the state to bail it out when the going gets rough.
This global project is being hatched by the "experts",
pushing "reforms" from the few down on to the many,
which is exactly the opposite of participatory democracy,
where decisions are made by the majority of a society.
And while GSD is critical of neoliberalism,
it does accept the parameters of monopoly capitalism,
which makes its profit from the exploitive extraction of resources
whether those resources are natural or whether they're human,
through the mechanism of appropriating "surplus" value
off the backs of the people that capitalism consumes.
And, like capitalism, GSD is driven to crises of overproduction
and consumes the environment in its relentless drive for profit.
It wants the working class to compromise in the global arena
and some help to limit capitalism's tendency to crisis.
GSD attempts to iron out capitalism's contradictions
like the New Deal and European Social Democracy,
to re-legitimate the same old neoliberal rationalization
by which the "elite" justify socially-engineering society.
Smooth-talking and charismatic, Barack Obama, is an opportunist
whose main function is managing the people's perceptions.
And while The Left is busy fighting their war with neoliberals,
GSD is steering the economy in the same old direction.
This think-tanking is becoming economic and foreign policy
and continuing its assault on equality and democracy
by masking social management techniques with Obama's face
to control both the national and the global economy.
We see and hear information provided by "elite"-owned media.
We form opinions and make decisions via what we hear and see.
Since the "elite" own the media, and thus, the information,
we'll soon be lobbying for the world to accept GSD.
It's so easy to pick a color, a lifestyle or a candidate
marketed to us via well-researched, advertising psychology.
Our president was advertising's 2008 Marketer of the Year.
What does that say about American "democracy"?
Just how different is Jim Crow from chattel slavery?
Wage and debt slavery from serfdom in a feudal monarchy?
Managing the way we see things via the control of media
works to make rule by plutocracy appear like democracy.
"There is no subjugation so perfect as that which keeps the illusion of freedom, for in that way one captures volition itself." - Jean-Jacques Rousseau
"The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, pull back the curtains, and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater." - Frank Zappa
