The murder of U.S. Federal prisoner Ralph Steele who was beaten to death at MCC Miami in 1986 in the segregation unit (I was there with others and heard his screams for mercy). For reporting all these crimes, just as a good citizen is told to do, I was targeted for relentless harassment and persecution with one phony charge after another including bribery and a stock fraud in which there are no victims, no dollar amount of loss or gain, and my nine alibi witnesses were never even contacted, much less interviewed by the FBI. But some of them received threatening phone calls promising "problems" if they tried to help me in any way. The crime allegedly took place in Miami while my passport shows I was in Hong Kong and then my dental records and 5 eyewitnesses in Ohio including the wife of a former Congressman prove I was in Ohio. Since my wife and her parents are from Canada we moved there to find peace and quiet - sanctuary if you will. That lasted six months before the U.S. "ordered" Immigration Canada to arrest and deport me even though my wife of 12 years and son are both Canadian citizens! I had to claim refugee status to remain with my family in Canada and for doing so I was kept detained in maximum security "IMMIGRATION DETENTION" in a 2 by 3 meter cell with two other men for 10.5 months! I had no criminal charges pending -and even a former Canadian Chief Justice (Patrick LeSage) and Immigration lawyer Marshal Drukarsh insisted my detention was illegal. After I filed my own pro-se habeas corpus and had a hearing before Justice LeSage, Immigration Canada suddenly called an emergency hearing and released me. Canadian immigration adjudicators Willoughby and DiCarlo know my case well and both apologized to me. I met with the RCMP anti-corruption rep in Toronto who for one hour did not even take notes after he heard the names I mentioned in Montreal (RCMP Col. Upon my release from Immigration detention, I learn that the U.S. wants to extradite me for the alleged stock fraud that did not take place. See the below link for details. Defending against this bogus extradition bankrupted my family and caused me to lose our family home in Ohio to an unscrupulous lawyer who himself was arrested for child abuse. After 8 years I was finally extradited but it took the U.S. attorney's office over 40 days to bring me before a judge for arraignment. So in all, I actually served the time for a crime I never committed without having been convicted for it! I represented myself before Judge Jack B. Weinstein and the charges were all dismissed. I returned home to reunite with my wife and son in Canada. 10 days later, I discover that I am re-indicted for the same identical charges all over again!

Omar Alghabra who actually chaired the Immigration Committee and he assured me that I had every right to remain in Canada. I was then tricked by Immigration Officers who told me that since I had no problem with Canada, I could leave and return after 30 days and that would solve the problem. I agreed to comply with the request and took a flight to China in 2008, but was not allowed to reenter Canada and was told I am now inadmissible, since I am still wanted in America for the phony stock fraud case. Not having any money left for lawyers, I am not going to risk ten years behind bars with some public defenders, so here I sit in China.
In the interim my wife gave birth to our second child, and she has essentially become a single mom in Canada. My wife who never even got a parking ticket in her life was held at gunpoint by federal agents when she was 7 months pregnant along with her 64 year old mother, simply because she would answer their questions without calling a lawyer, a call that was denied her. All my in-laws were there at my Parma home when it was stormed and my manuscripts seized without a warrant or receipt. at gun-point. A similar episode took place in my Miami home previously and when witnessed gave me written statements of what they saw two of them were threatened with deportation.
