Now as we look for true friends of America let's turn to the Far East. North Korea, absolutely not! South Korea and Japan are just like Saudi Arabia, they want to maintain a relationship in order to take advantage of America's completely outdated trade policies that allow both of them to flood America with exports, while they, in turn, severely restrict our exports to them.
The third group would include South America where we used to have many friends in decades past or we mistakenly thought we had friends. Today we have a close relationship with only Colombia, involving a complex, twisted relationship that supposedly revolves around drugs. An agreement has been concluded whereby the U.S. will be given basing rights to at least seven Colombian army, navy and air force facilities.
Why do we need those bases? Perhaps to maintain control over the entire South American region? That seems to be the opinion of many of the leaders of South American nations; Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Bolivian President Morales, Venezuelan president Chavez and others who have vehemently denounced this agreement. They see this move by the U.S. as just one more infringement into the affairs of the sovereign nations of South America.
Guess who also has been very active in Colombian national affairs in recent times? None other than Israel, which has long been supplying weapons and training to the Colombian army. According to Haaretz, the Israeli news organization, Israeli foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman's intention is to increase the presence of Israeli weapons in Africa and Latin America. This is yet one more example of the close militaristic strategies between the U.S. and Israel.
There is no great love between China and the U.S. This is strictly an economic relationship that is heavily tilted in favor of China. China produces the majority of the products the U.S. needs, loans the U.S. the money to pay for those products and is content to remain the holder of the largest share of America's monumental debt. China is fully aware that it occupies the catbird seat; a position of power and dominance.
China does not fear America; it only fears any negative situation that might reduce its exports to Wal-Mart and other huge chains. It is biding its time, watching America go broke buying its products and wasting its dwindling wealth on endless wars. At some point, China may be forced to pull the plug on this relationship and cut America loose even though that will hurt its economy to a significant degree. China knows that the economic demise of America is inevitable. It is highly probable that, someday, China will become the resident landlord living on site here in America and managing its massive holdings.
If we consider the current agendas and strategies that the U.S. and Israel are taking in relations with the world community of nations, and project this trend into the future, the conclusion has to be that the U.S. and Israel are on a direct course of collision with the world.
For those who think that Israel can forever intimidate and dominate the nations of the Middle East, and American military might can control and pacify the entire world, all one needs to do is study history. The mightiest military powers dominated the world throughout history, some for long periods of time, but eventually overextended their empires, could not sustain their power and might, and collapsed.
