But getting back to the current oil glut situation-remember it was created with the Saudi's and the US in collusion- the American fracking industry, dependent on oil prices at least in the $100 dollar range just to cover its high production costs, is being hammered directly and could cause many fracking outfits into bankruptcy and create a new financial crisis because its the big banks that underwrite the fracking operations.
Sure its hard to make rational sense of it all, maybe because its all irrational and insane.
There may be a method to the madness-which if history is any guide-war becomes the answer.
But threatening and provoking a nuclear armed Russia-believing they always back down when "push comes to shove"-that's absolute insanity.
