Tribes and Bands have supposed treaty rights; these rights have never been respected by our governments and the greedy rich plutocrats running them,  and the tide is again turning to take their remaining Tribal lands, now found to be mineral-rich, and eradicate their culture - this is ongoing but ramping up again. 

We have much to learn from the "old ways" that allowed these people to cohabitate with Mother Earth for centuries; millennia. Their fight is at the center of whether humanity will survive as a species, or like all the other species and genuses we are extincting, go extinct with them.
