Bernie set a NH crowd record with nearly 2,000 people attending a rally in Keene on Sunday, the biggest crowd in NH this cycle. Sanders had set the same record in Cedar Rapids IA, beating the 1,800 attending a Buttigieg event in Nashua.
The Keene rally was a concert, featuring bands Twiddle and Sunflower Bean. Actor Tim Robbins and campaign co-chair Nina Turner called for the movement to not stop its momentum once Sanders is elected president.
"We're going to start the change," said Robbins, adding that the campaign knocked on 150,000 doors on Saturday. .
“If we have the highest voter turnout in New Hampshire primary history we will win here in New Hampshire,” Sanders told the energized crowd.
Sanders is holding a series of events across NH prior to the state’s first in the nation primary on Tuesday, including a concert rally with The Strokes in Durham on Monday night.
