The statement begins:
The rabbis say that Christianity is neither an accident nor an error, but the willed divine outcome and gift to the nations," describing "the goodness that Jesus brought to the world, especially "remov[ing] idols from the nations," through the spread of worship of the G-d of Israel among the gentiles. This is exactly the opposite of the Orthodox Union's critique of a similar statement, Dabru Emet, released in 2000.
...Orthodox Judaism is in the midst of a serious reckoning with the fundamental tenets of Christianity.
