There is no conflict more hazardous for the stability and even existence of the humanity on the planet than the world war III. The upcoming phase of human history will witness the said hazards of the war. However, in the past, there have been some conflicts which were termed by the analysts as the third World War. Here are some perspectives that the scholars have maintained regarding the cold War as the World War III.
In 2004, the Cold War may appropriately be called World War III, Norman Podhoretz recommended. In 2006 on CNBC's Kudlow and Company, Lawrence Kudlow, corroborated the said above stance in a book authored by former deputy Under-Secretary of Defense Jed Babbin, "World War IV is the dread war, and war with China would be World War V.
Still most of history scholars would appear to hold that World War III would fundamentally be an around the world "war in which huge powers from numerous nations fought and a war that includes the vast majority of the key countries of the world. In his book Secret Weapons of the Cold War, Bill Yenne clarifies that the military standoff that happened between the two Superpowers in particular the United States and the Soviet Union, from the 1940s through to 1991, was just the Cold War, which at last empowered humanity to deflect the likelihood of a hard and destructive nuclear conflict, and that it surely was not World War III itself.
Nevertheless, the glaring shadows of WW III are hovering which need sincere efforts to be materialized for the sake of global peace, security and stability of the world.
