Under Stalin in 1940s- 50s abortions were explicitly prohibited in the Soviet Union, treated as murders and a doctor together with the woman would go to jail for 10 years. In the Nazi Germany abortions were prohibited and not only that: giving birth to a German was considered an honor and adultery was tolerated if the woman had a child with the soldier. Tell that to Sarah Palin.
