Citizens of Pennsylvania. Our long awaited time is near. The Pennsylvania Primary Season is Upon us, and we have nothing to lose but our chains.
How long has it been since we had a real Progressive Candidate For Governor? We waited, while Wall Street took a break from destroying democracies in foreign lands, with free market, Freidman, economics; only to come home to America and destroy our financial system.
We waited, while big oil got it's wish list, only hours after Bush/Cheney took office, scrapping anything that smelled of safety, and didn't smell of oil. We waited, while the virginity of the Marcellus Shale was penetrated with toxic chemicals under pressure, forcing methane gas into the wells
of , not so, nearby homes, so that homeowners could save money on candles by lighting their water, instead of drinking it. We waited, while
our tax dollars bailed out banks, so that they could borrow money from the government, and loan it back to them at a 3 percent profit; stagnating the economy, increasing bankruptcies, and wising people up to the idea of a credit union instead of a bank.
We waited, while the biggest chunk of the budget became even bigger,
so that we could continue to wage war in foreign lands, killing more innocent civilians than armed combatants, rendering our military personel not only at risk of harm in battle, but at risk of coming home and waiting
a year until the Veteran's Administration makes an appointment to see
you six more months down the road.
We waited for real Health Care Reform, only to be plundered by the Health Insurance Industry, Once Again, with more of our tax dollars going to corporate profits, instead of helping those who need help.
Don't look for a Progressive In the White House, until the States can
elect a Progressive Governor. Don't Look for Health Care For All Pennsylvania to be inacted unless we elect a Progressive Governor. And Do Look For Things To Get Much Worse if you cast your vote for Candidates taking money from Private Companies, whose only desire is to destroy Unions, and the Middle Class.
Make an appointment with yourself, an appointment that will actually do something for you and everybody else. Pull the lever for the dying wildlife in the Gulf of Mexico, and not the cause of death. Pull the lever for the health of your family and your neighbor,s family when Single Payer is Finally, and Really enacted. Pull the lever for an America that the rest of the world is waiting to see.
