I saw a CNN survey that said Obama won the debate 51 to 38. The CNN broadcaster who remarked on the survey made the disclaimer that this result was for those who watched the debate. We're failing in the easier tasks of the surge. It was allegedly designed to allow Iraq enough time to arrive at political reconciliations, but they only spend their time debating how to get rid of the US infidel. Iraqis don't even contribute forces to provide for their own security needs. W's military advisors are second tier hacks who got their positions by agreeing with the failed flop W. We can't expect success from them.

They can't protect the capital while the other cities' security plummets.
W's first secretary of defense sent off troops with inadequate protection and said that countries go to war with the military they have, not military they wanted. Why not? If W had "fully funded" the US military then our boys and girls wouldn't have been sitting ducks for IED attacks. Gen. Eric Shinseki said the military would need "several hundred thousand" troops, but W didn't "fully fund" it in that aspect either.
