He stated that the architects, engineers and physicists like Professor Jones have made the case of controlled demolition well, and now it is time for politicians to be organized, and connect internationally and make joint petitions to the US Government or Congress, and to request the United Nations have independent investigations of 9/11.
However, speaking at the 911 Truth Conference in Australia last week, he was adamant that, in order to create the public pressure to make that happen, nowit is time for the 9/11 truth movement to move beyond the internet circles, and into the main public arena. It is time to bring 9/11 truth to the more common people’s world, he asserted.
New York Times best selling author, Steve Alten, has been living the call of the Japanese Senator in recent weeks, speaking on National CBS Radio thru nearly 200 radio stations on WTC 7, the 9/11 War Games, the illegal destruction of WTC forensic evidence and other pressing 9/11 truth questions.
Last week Alten launched into 9/11 questions at a major book fair in Florida, when on a panel with horror author Steven King’s son, novelist Joe Hill. He stunned over 200 attendees who’d come to hear tips on writing.
Steve Alten offers the current, best hope, for 9/11 truth issues to explode into mainstream media. For his efforts major 9/11 truth leadership embraced his efforts . . . however, in the blogosphere too many 9/11 truth activists have urged others not to support Alten. This is terribly damaging to 9/11 truth efforts, because if the movement rallied around Alten’s new 9/11 truth telling historic-novel “The Shell Game,” and drove it into the top 10 of the New York Times list . . . 9/11 truth would find its way throughout mainstream media through Alten’s relentlessly courageous voice.
Beyond that, independent publishers, one of which published Alten’s book when major publishing houses (who’d published his previous non-controversial books eagerly) turned their back on the controversial issues in the 9/11 truth telling “The Shell Game,” . . . are watching what happens with it.
IF they see it succeed they will be emboldened to publish more. If the movement watches corporate media effectively sabatoge this powerful 9/11 truth issue raising tool . . . and just shrugs and goes "oops, we did the best we could, we mentioned the book a couple o' times" then the publishing industry will see that book's demise. It may well be the last one we see, whereas its success could usher in a host of truth telling works.

The 9/11 truth movement can do the same, for a work of hard facts! Why is it that only fascist lunatics can relentlessly and enthusiastically support their authors, and the truth movement can't. Of course, we can if we choose to.

Like bubbling crude, the 911 Truth movement is working it's way toward the surface. And it is happening not just here in America, but globally too! America is starting to wise up to this mendacity. They realize they've been had and are tired of this pernicious cabal having it's way with our Democracy, like it were some two bit hooker!
America's fed up! They're simply not gonna take it any longer and it might not be pretty? These good Americans want their dam country back. Enough! Already.

Where Mr. Alten has been known to frequent OpEdNews.com, this comment's specifically addressed to him. Billy is lost to his own 9/11 faith, as well as a fair number of others - to include Mr. Alten.
As I've answered and sourced previously, NORAD was only conducting one (1) exercise at the time of the attacks contrary to the five confined to the northeast "corridor". Two additional NORAD drills were scheduled but had not commenced.
In light of this, I'm forced to ask these questions. WHO do Truthers fear the most - themselves and their hidden but real doubts on 9/11? WHAT part of these sourced facts on the exercises don't Truthers understand? WHEN will they actually play the role of the skeptic and look at the EVIDENCE and not the speculation rooted in their own biases? HOW do they continue to believe the false assertions on these exercises? WHY do they thrive in the negative and wither in the positive?
Regardless... Mr. Alten, you who "innocently" feigns responsibility by claiming to "only be the messanger", read the reality of the exercises and not some silly, speculative nonsense typed up by a misanthrope whose idea of a good time is biting the same hand that feeds him. And you call the tripe that you served up in your novel - research? "What were these supposed military operations on Sep. 11th about?"
There are all kinds of exercises – AIREXs, JTFEXs, CAXs, CPXs, FTXs, TTXs, etc... There was only one (1) military exercise that was underway or active on 9/11 – Operation Northern Guardian ( click here ), which was limited to northern Canada and Alaska and NOT the Continental United States or CONUS.
Two other military exercises were planned for 9/11 – Global Guardian ( click here ) and Vigilant Guardian ( click here ) – but never commenced officially at their respective and scheduled start times because of the "real-world" attacks associated with 9/11.
There was a National Reconnaissance Office (part of the DoD) Site Recover Plan (SRP) drill conducted in Virginia. The scenario involved a small, prop-driven plane crashing into one of the office towers there due to mechanical failure ( click here ). This drill was evaluating the group's ability to implement its Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), following an incident that triggers its plan. Once the 9/11 attacks were announced, the NRO immediately canceled the drill.
And lastly, Operation Tripod was entering day two of a multi-day drill on distributing medicines to a metropolitan New York City. The City's Office of Emergency Management (OEM) conducted the drill, which included joint interaction with FBI and FEMA representatives. Once the 9/11 attacks were announced, the OEM immediately canceled the drill and used the drill's staging site (Pier 92) as its alternate Emergency Operations Center (EOC) when WTC 7 was evacuated ( click here ).
So, here we had three (3) exercises that were on-going and two (2) scheduled but not started. Three (3) of the exercises involved NORAD but only one (1) was actually drilled on 9/11. Hmmm. How many drills does the military conduct at that level in a given year? The number is many hundreds - http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ops/ex.htm . Therefore, is it conceivable that three multiple day drills might be run concurrently for several days? I'd say that's a "yes".
The other drills were conducted (1) by DoD at the facility/functional group level – not at the service or joint service level and (2) by the NYC OEM at the city level with inputs from the state and Federal levels. These two drills had nothing to do with the military drills that were scheduled previously. Thus, was it probable that these drills, at completely different planning levels compared to the military operations, could have been scheduled on the same day? Again, that'd be a "yes"!

I happened to be at the Australian 9/11 truth conference
last week. It was a marvellous event. Very, very inspiring. Mr. Fujita ("Call me 'Yuki Fujita'") was a very likeable man (including that touch of Japanese "inscrutableness"), who fitted right in at the conference and whose presence was a great success. He made the point that in order to reach people outside of the Internet, we should always keep in mind who we were talking to, and pitch our message to what about 9/11 would interest or appeal to this particular audience.
I approached Mr Fujita and congratulated him for taking his message to the European Parliament. He regretted that it has so far been impossible to bring the message out in the open, and said that there is now an urgency to try and do so.
A foreign dignitary from Japan. Not a single member of the Australian federal, or the New South Wales state, government to welcome him.

"The Shell Game" is so incredibly approachable to those masses who simply won't consider the truth of 9/11, as it is . . . action fiction.
HOWEVER, those who read it, and I know from the amazon reviews, as well as messages Alten gets from readers, EVEN BUSH REPUBLICANS who read "The Shell Game" become wholley suspicious about 9/11, many researching deeper.
"The Shell Game" is laced with REAL 9/11 facts, and you'll hear in the above link to the National CBS Radio interview Alten did. Facts that leave these action-fiction readers walking away with a WHOLE LOTTA TRUTH TO CHEW ON.
I urge all to dedicate yourselves to doing what you can to expand the readership of "The Shell Game" as widely as possible.
Alten is a force for 9/11 truth, and we can help him gain international noteriety by driving this book to #1 thru our activism, emails, blogging, etc. etc.
He made the point that in order to reach people outside of the Internet, we should always keep in mind who we were talking to, and pitch our message to what about 9/11 would interest or appeal to this particular audience.
This is exactly what I have been saying for years!
