The UK Guardian ran an opinion this week entitled, “US journalists ignore Sunday Times scoop on FBI nuclear scandal,” on January 22, 2008.

This column read:

“Harry Shearer, one of the voices behind The Simpsons, has used his own blogging voice to ask a pertinent question. Why has a story broken by the Sunday Times over here about nefarious goings-on in the States failed to take off in the American media? He isn't alone in his concerns. Daniel Ellsberg, the man who leaked the Pentagon Papers some 35 years ago, is even more outraged.

He writes: "For the second time in two weeks, the entire US press has let itself be scooped by Rupert Murdoch's London Sunday Times on a dynamite story of criminal activities by corrupt US officials promoting nuclear proliferation. But there is a worse journalistic sin than being scooped, and that is participating in a cover-up of information that demands urgent attention from the public, the US Congress and the courts."”

Notice how the above article went from a cartoon character's blog post on Sibel Edmonds into a serious researcher, writer, and whistleblower, Daniel Ellsberg?  This cartoon character's voice, using his platform in the US as a blogger, gained MORE NOTERIETY for a serious issue statesman.  Is this a good thing?  H*LL YES, IT IS.  If an actor, a singer, a cartoon voice, or a novelist can get more eyes to examine hard truths . . . THAT IS WONDERFUL !!

Now, since I’ve personally been advancing a new historical-fiction action novel called “The Shell Game,” by NY Times best selling author, Steve Alten, a few 9/11 activists have hedged at advocating a work of fiction, not believing that such a work could help advance our cause of fighting for a new 9/11 investigation.

VIEW 911 TRUTH "THE SHELL GAME" TRAILER:

This controversy over the US media completely burying a story of critical import, is not new to 9/11 truth activists and researchers.  I think we’ve all been through a stunning civics class in “the pathetic state of the fourth estate.”

George Orwell once wrote, “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.”

As a 9/11 truth activist I would give this a new twist, “In times of mainstream media betrayal, all people must become the media, and out truth by any means necessary.”

I’m not a bible thumper, but did go to Sunday School and was an alter boy, and picked up a few very meaningful quotes.  One is from Proverbs, “Where there is no vision – the people perish.”  I think this meant we have to be creative and fluid, and cannot be rigid and dogmatic.
