I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that votes are counted in public in elections all across America. The bad news is that the votes are counted in public in elections for high school prom queens, not for our government representatives. Our votes are counted in secret in the elections that really matter!!!

I’ve got more good news, but it could really be bad news. Read on and think for yourself.

You may have noticed that just about everyone in the "news" media is talking about how the government is cracking down on voter fraud while most of the organizations which claim to be working to make sure that we have fair elections are talking about stopping voter disenfranchisement. Of course, the one thing that is not heard from either side in this argument is that the votes are counted in secret on computers and that no one in government checks to make sure that the votes were counted accurately on election day.

Of course, most people fall for the grand illusion designed to make the sheeple think that the government and the "news" media are making sure that our elections are conducted fairly and without any cheating. What is that illusion? It’s voter fraud. For an article which bursts this voter fraud bubble, see Michael Collins’ article, Voter Fraud: The Dog That Don’t Hunt.

Ask yourself, how many hundreds of thousands or millions would have to cast illegal votes to steal a Presidential election? Now, how many hackers or programmers for the 3 election computer manufacturers would it take to rig an election?

In case you missed it, faith based voting has taken over in America. You vote and just have faith that the computer counts your vote accurately. Why do you just have to rely on faith? Because computers count in secret, inside their case, just like some programmer or hacker told them to, and no one checks to see if the computers counted accurately on election day!

Oh yeah, secret vote counting is not only inherently dangerous, it’s unconstitutional, too! For more info, see
Project Vote Count’s FAQ and Project Vote Count’s Election News

Could it be that all of these people running for President just don’t realize that computers count votes in secret or that secret vote counting is unconstitutional? No. They know, and they just don’t care or are afraid to touch the third rail on the subway to dictatorship and the impoverishment of America. See, Virginia’s Elections Are UNCONSTITUTIONAL?!?! South Carolina Elections Are UNCONSTITUTIONAL!?! and Democrats Pass On Secret Vote Counting in SC

Of course, you may also want to see some of the letters to the candidates about this fundamental problem concerning Virginia and South Carolina  For more fun, watch me question the Virginia Board of Elections Staff about why they are using computers to count votes in secret when Virginia's Constitution prohibits secret vote counting.

Yes, Virginia, secret vote counting is unconstitutional, but no one in power gives a damn! They just want to stay in power by whatever means.

Do you wonder what is wrong with people who do not understand that secret vote counting is the MAJOR problem which should have been included in every political discussion since at least 2004? I do, and I think that the only explanation is an organized disinformation campaign designed to keep the public in the dark while our country is stolen from us.

So what can we do? Most organizations want to "protect" the vote by getting people to serve as poll watchers, or of course, by donating to their "efforts." Well, if you can see a computer count, then send me the magical secret that allows anyone to see in to a computer to make sure it counts accurately. Of course, no one can and the source code has been illegally suppressed as a "trade secret." So, how does watching the polls help?

Well, it may help a few people who had their voter registrations purged get a provisional ballot. Unfortunately, provisional ballots are often left uncounted. It may also document voters who observed their votes flipping from the Democratic or third party candidate to the Republicon. However, does this protect against fraud or does it just possibly expose it assuming that the "news" media doesn’t just dismiss it or refuse to cover it as has been done previously? Most importantly, has this type of effort ever resulted in over-turning the official "results" in an election? Unfortunately, the answer is no.

Fortunately, there are a few organizations which are trying to do more than poll watching. They are collecting surveys, audits, parallel ballots, etc., but those have little to no evidentiary value. If they show election fraud, they are easily dismissed as the biased survey of one of those election fraud conspiracy nut groups.

This shoot the messenger tactic was even tried by a few Neo-Con apologist fools who questioned the affidavits that we gathered in the 2006 election contests and in the Presidential primaries in 2008. Of course, it is easy to refute that argument. My response is that each affidavit is signed under penalty of perjury, so you're telling me that the voters would lie, but you believe the vote counts that are spit out of the computer that counts them in secret and that no one checks. You have faith in the computer, but not the voters who signed affidavits. That usually shuts that "argument" down.

It looks pretty bleak, but just a handful of activists can make a difference. If you conduct an exit poll in your county at a precinct or two, and most importantly, let your local elections officials know that you will be conducting exit polls in your county, then you can actually help deter and expose election fraud. Instead of collecting surveys, you can collect affidavits. A survey or poll is not very persuasive evidence that the official results are incorrect; however, affidavits are accepted as evidence in both civil and criminal proceedings.
