George W. Bush and Dick Cheney D.U.I./D.W.I
by Alex Hamilton
OpEdNews.com
During the past few weeks there has been an
uproar over alleged documents detailing President Bush's
lackluster National Guard service. Even without the documents
shown on 60 Minutes, it is widely known that Bush did in fact
receive preferential treatment to gain his assignment which was
never fulfilled. In this article I have put together a list of
other documents and videos that give insight into the character
of Mr. Bush. I ask each of you to thoroughly read and to ask
your own questions about the documents and videos I am about to
show you.
Most people are aware of George W. Bush's "youthful"
indiscretions such as his D.U.I received in Kennebunkport Maine.
It is important to realize here that George W. was 30 years old
at the time this happened. By the time most people are 30, they
are no longer allowed to claim "youth" as an excuse for
misjudgment and illegal behavior.
In addition, Dick Cheney was picked up twice in Wyoming for
driving under the influence of alcohol. Mr. Cheney picked up his
badges of honor at the ages of 21, and 22.
In the past few months we have seen the DUI of John Edwards'
brother plastered on various front pages around the country. Why
does it matter, and how is it in any way informative to the news
reader?

George W. Bush College Transcript
You may have heard about George being a C student at Yale. Here
is your chance to take a look at his transcript. Note that
almost all of the classes taken his senior year were pass-no
pass. Everyone who has been through college knows what kind of
student takes P/NP classes.

George W. Bush and Irish Reporter(Carol Coleman)
It is a sad day when the President of the United States of
America is so out of touch with reality. Watch as Bush flounders
under actual pressure from a media correspondent. Wouldn't it
have been nice if someone in our media had as much guts as Carol
Coleman and actually asked hard questions before the war?

George W. Bush - Presidential PDB August 6th, 2001
This is the chilling PDB that Condoleeza Rice referred to as
purely a purely historical document. Read it and judge for
yourself. Within a page and a half, Bin Laden is said to be
plotting hijackings, and conducting surveillance on New York
buildings. Even for a president with such a small attention
span, this should have caught his attention.

George W. Bush Jokes About Sept 11th, the Slumping Economy, and War in Iraq/Afghanistan
The following sick joke was used time and time again by Bush at
gatherings around the country. If he did not mean this line as a
joke, he should have discontinued using it after it drew
laughter out of the crowd more than once. His choice of words is
also a bit telling, "Never did I dream we'd have the
trifecta." Mr. Bush, this dream is a nightmare, not a joke. It
is the untimely deaths of thousands at the WTC, the grisly
unnecessary deaths of so many young soldiers in a land far from
home, and countless Americans unable to pay their bills or feed
their family. What exactly about this is funny?
"The recession -- no question, I remember when I was
campaigning, I said, would you ever deficit spend? And I said,
yes, only if there were a time of war, or recession, or a
national emergency. Never thought we'd get -- (laughter and
applause.) And so we have a temporary deficit in our budget,
because we are at war, we're recovering, our economy is
recovering, and we've had a national emergency. Never did I
dream we'd have the trifecta. (Laughter.)"
I counted 13 occurrences of this "joke" at www.whitehouse.gov.

Bush Jokes About WMD at Nationally Televised Dinner
This joke crosses the line again. How can the President of the
United States of America joke about sending troops off to Iraq
based on a false claim? Over 1000 troops have now given their
lives, and many thousands more are now maimed. This is not a
joke Mr. President. Taken in conjunction with the previous
"joke" you have to wonder just how out of touch Mr. Bush is.
"Nope, no weapons over there. (Laughter and applause.) Maybe
under here. (Laughter.) Oops, this photo wasn't supposed to be
in here. This is the Skull and Bones secret signal.
(Laughter.)"

(video - joke is at 4:50)
No single video or document alone adds up to a complete picture
of President Bush. But, after placing them all together, a
picture of a man so far out of touch with reality that he
actually jokes about death and destruction emerges. Can we take
another four years with someone with this kind of personality in
the White House? I hope, for our sake, that we don't have to
find out.
