When Bush takes the last drop of liberty away, after he snuffs the oxygen of democracy out, and freedom is no longer free; who will stand next to meÂ""your brother, sister, mother, father, neighbor, friend?Â""for, as Bush knows all too well, it is in the unity and communion with one another that the chains of repression are broken; or, will his Rx for scaring us, turn us into snitches against our brothers, neighbors, friends, in this Bush repressive world?
Ironically, and despite BushÂ's smooth words that, Â"We cannot build a unified country by inciting people to anger, or playing on anyoneÂ's fears, or exploiting the issue of [...] for political gain...Â" words that seem to imply that Bush wants a united country, Bush really longs for, and works to make this, a fearfully divided country, fearful of having terrorists (better known as BushÂ's iron-hand) within our borders because he knows that a divided, fearful country, is his ticket to keeping and sustaining the Bushevik estate into which he has thrown our country and our constitution.
Paradoxically again, and despite his smooth words that, Â"... every human being has dignity and value.Â" Bush neither values human beings nor does he give, anyone of us, any dignity.
He does the same when he lies about weapons of mass destruction and blames Saddam Hussein for the sins of Osama Bin Laden. He does the same when he signs into law a tax cut which will give most Americans a tax break worth $9.00 while his rich crony friends will receive $42,000.00 for the same tax break.
When Bush stands on Jackson Square blathering about how his government is going to help hurricane victims and then does nothing to help them while New Orleas is dying, Bush is showing contempt and disregard for everyone of us human beings, for the history of our own cities, and for the history of our own country.
When Bush sits or stands before the television cameras and says that Â"freedom is free,Â" tells whatever number of lies he wants to so that he can get to whatever goal of destruction he has set for himself, and then spends billions of our tax dollars garnered during the Clinton administration to invade and occupy Iraq, or go after people who are telling the truth about him, Bush is showing us that he does not believe in the dignity and value of human life or the worth of truth and honesty; he continues to show us that he has contempt for us.
Bush is a smooth operator with smooth words that flow from Karl RoveÂ's brain into his mouth, and from his mouth into the microphones nearest him and from the microphones nearest him into our ears and out into the rest of the world, where some of us, sadly so, along with some in the rest of the world buy his pack of liesÂ""and when Bush hires a smoother operator, a mouthpiece who can further disfigure, disjoint, confuse, and triangle his pack of lies even further, Bush, again, shows contempt for the rest of us and for this country, this America the Great, that he, so, supposedly, feels so proudly Â"patrioticÂ" about.
Bush knows all too well that a unified country would run him out of the oval office just as sure as the bees that make honey and as sure as Lech Walesa and his Solidarity Movement ran the communist government out of Poland in the l980s. For that reason, he also knows that he must divide the country and the families and friends in it in order to sustain his illicit grip on his, and his fatherÂ's, power grab on this country.
Bush knows that he must break any possibility of a peopleÂ's united front against his tyranny by sending out the jackbooted police whenever people gather to protest him or his policies, he knows that he must corral them into Â"free speech zonesÂ" where they are watched like hawks by jack booted police and all of their military armaments, Bush knows that by appealing to the illogical, irrational fear which lives inside every human being, he can twist things around and get away with whatever pleases him. He does it every time he tells us something bad is going to happen to us if we donÂ't stand for all his daily oral diarrhea of lies and support his lies and world of fantasy. Bush does not want you to see reality, that is why he must keep the steam heat of lies coming to the t.v. nearest to you, or the radio nearest to you, or the website nearest to you.
Are you waking up my brother, sister, mother, father, child, neighbor, friend? Are you waking up America? Are you waking up to the Bushes betrayal to you, to your liberty and to mine? Are you waking up to the fact that the Bushes want to keep the power and control so longed for by them going back to several generations past? Are you waking up to the fact that they know all too well that they must divide the country to retain their illicit power and control over it and that to that end they are willing to intimidate, cheat and lie? Are you waking up to the fact that they want to win the game at any cost while pretending to be honest, decent peopleÂ""instead of showing themselves up for the scammer, con artists that they are?
Are you waking up to their megalomaniacal dream for wealth, power and control which cares not an iota for you or me and, which, has, for generations, beginning with Prescott Bush on one side of the family, and with George Herbert Walker on the other side of the family, been a Bush-Family dream?
Are you waking up to the effects of the BushesÂ' repressive, reptilian brains, and octopuses-like tentacles in our lives, our economy, and our democracy? Are you waking up to the fact that their corporatization of America disregards the dignity and value of every human being that Bush portends to espouse and benefits only their quest for wealth, power and control?
Are you waking up to the fact that when Bush and his Condoleezza Rice use language which puts down their presumed enemies, or language which intimidates them and the world, or make weapons of mass destruction threats against themÂ""or proceed to an invasion and occupation of any country without cause, they are displaying themselves to be the abusers of power who must keep and retain power to build their own self-esteem that they really are, while disguising it all in the colors of our flag and our democracy?
Bush knows all too well that by inciting people to anger, or by playing on our fears, or by exploiting any issueÂ""social security, global warming, war on terror, prescription drugs, immigrationÂ""(add your own)Â""for political gain he cannot build a unified country. And yet, he plays on our fears like an accordeon every chance he gets; every time a microphone is handed to him....and he does it as well in the dark of night, when no one is looking, when he is far away from the microphones, when he laughs at our laws and constitution and pays Alberto Gonzalez to come up with a thousand and one excuses as to why it is legal for Bush to break our laws, or why Bush is above our laws. And he does it all again when Senators John Warner, or John Roberts, or Arlen Specter, give him a free pass on any committee hearings wanting to learn the truth about 9/11, or warrantless domestic spying.
