Let's face it. Winning by a mid thirty percentage, beating candidates with 30 and 29% does not give you the nomination.
Imagine if this pattern persists.
Imagine if the mainstream media started talking about the possiblity of voters staying with their candidates, not giving up and switching to one winner.
Then in the Democratic presidential primary, there would be no winner. The minor candidates might just play kingmaker roles at the convention. Anything could happen.
On the GOP side, there's even more of a chance that the race could end up being decided by multiple votes at the convention.
It's been years since a race was so close. But it's also been years since no incumbent President or VP was in the race. The time is right.
