Four suggestions for solving your problem

Study the following suggestions to their logical conclusion and you will be much closer to solving the problem than you are now.

1. Do not expect or allow criminals and their accomplices, whose main mission now is to cover up and escape culpability for their crimes and negligence, to expose or acknowledge the heart of the problem or solve it.

Corollary to 1: If you want to solve a problem, do not have the person or persons who are the problem select the committee whose job it is to accurately identify the problem and suggest solutions to it. See http://www.gpln.com/finally.pdf

2. If you want to solve a problem, you have to be able to define it. And the most powerful tool you have in defining the problem, is courage--the courage to honestly look at the problem... its source and its evolution... and honestly tell the truth about it. (The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.)

3. Once you've defined the problem, you need to chart a responsible and appropriate strategy for fixing it. And your solution needs to be consistent with your highest ideals. The people implementing a solution must have clean hands, honorable intentions, and a true sense of justice; they also need the fundamental skills, character and wisdom necessary to inspire others to become part of the solution rather than the problem.

4. Don't make implementing the solution to a problem more--or less--complex than is necessary for achieving an honorable and just resolution for everyone involved.

Notes on the above:

Can you tell me why a liar and a cheat is still the President of the United States? Can you tell me why we allow a war criminal to continue to be the Commander in Chief of our military? Can you tell me why you would still allow such a person to make executive decisions when those decisions will impact the well being of our children for decades.

Our un-elected president and his minions raped the country of Iraq and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and children in the process. We stood by, allowing him to destroy their homes, their economy, their hospitals, their art, their historical artifacts, their water supply, their sewer systems, the very fabric of their society. We allowed him to steal their oil (mission accomplished) and we permitted him to empty our own treasury while he did it.

Under his leadership, we corrupted the morals of our own young children, teaching them that they have no right to express themselves in freedom. During political campaigns he went into public schools and our children were made to take off their tee shirts if anything was written on them that did not compliment our corrupt leader. They were sent packing if they would not oblige. He kept protesters out of the public eye at political events so they could not be seen or heard by their countrymen. And he stole the lives of some of our finest young men with his lies, telling them that they were fighting to protect freedom and democracy, when they were doing no such thing. He taught them to hate, to kill, and to destroy even the innocent, when he should have been teaching them how to protect the innocent from harm.

We conducted a coward's war from the very beginning by sending bombs, missiles, and depleted uranium munitions into populated areas where innocent people were sure to die and suffer. We told our troops that it was ok to round up people who were not known to be guilty of any crime; that it was ok to humiliate them and their families; that it was ok to keep them in prison; to torture them for months or years; that it was ok to betray the most fundament and cherished legal precedents and principles that it took our own forebears centuries to establish.

And when our own soldiers came home injured and broken, he lobbied to cut their benefits and deny them appropriate medical attention. Over the last six years, we systematically betrayed every value that we once tought our children to uphold.

Today, our great political institutions are led by people who systematically deny the truth. Lying to ourselves and each other, we cheat our children; we steal their future; we betray everyone who ever trusted us; we betray our professional standards and our intellectual integrity; we remain silent in the face of injustice; we look the other way in the midst of corruption; we are afraid to stand up, afraid to speak out. We are distracted from our mission, from our purpose, we are lost and don't know how to find our way.

We call misdeeds mistakes when those misdeeds were actually crimes consciously committed... crimes that some of our honorable citizens tried in vain to stop before they were perpetrated.

We have become the world's greatest recruiter of terrorists. We give them cause to hate us. And then we declare war on them for doing just that. Our policies squander our resources and serve only to keep war and hate alive.

The people we elected to solve our problems now are the problem. When are we going to admit that the problem is not their problem, but our problem?
