Truth and Common sense says: "Bush-Cheney and this Pentagon had absolutely NO exit plans for Iraq!" All Americans need to wake up, analyze and understand this very important fact: "There was NO exit plan in Iraq by design. This deceitful administration was and is planning on permanent US bases in Iraq. The Bush-Cheney regime of Liars along with this Defense Department have NO intentions of exiting Iraq. In fact, they will continue to use the 'elements of fear' to gain access and control of the middle east oil spigots. What was one of the first missions of this military? Secure the oil fields!
This entire WHIG group (White House Iraq Group or most noted for opposition to the Jacksonian Democrats) deceived our Country, Congress and the entire World for political, economic (oil) gains. A deceptive platform was launched and marketed right after fears of another 9-11. Using 9-11 as the political platform to incite, initiate and provoke a deceptive war with a country that posed NO threat to the United States. There were NO ties to Iraq and 9-11. There were NO weapons of mass destruction (WMDs)! History will reflect that the war in Iraq was solely built on a platform of fear and lies!
Wake up folks, If this so-called brutal, sadistic dictator (Hussein) had WMDs; he would have used them in the Gulf War and in this latest Iraq War. In the Gulf War, Hussein had a few SCUDs that barely reached Israel. Hussein, Iraq had NO Navy and NO Air Force to pose any type of threat to the United States. Common sense speaks the truth here!
Indirect Democracies can be very fragile! 'Investigative Reporting' has long been an important aspect of public decision making. Democracy and Freedom can easily be 'manipulated' by very corrupt, evil political forces that use platforms of fear, smear and or trash campaigns to serve up political power-gains. Americans have always depended on thorough media investigations to obtain the real truth versus political lies, deceit and tricky.
Today, Our mainstream media has grown lazy since they can only buy into the political rhetoric with NO investigation to follow. Our media has been resigned to political cheerleading for one side or the other. Where is the OLE fashion journalism of reporting and investigating political claims-rhetoric? Does it exist today, especially since 'blatant deception' has cost thousands of American lives?
Sadly, Many Americans are getting their so-called 'news' from the Limbaughs, Hannitys and Others that are nothing more than 'biased political cheerleaders' for the cause they support at the time. Its all about ratings with smear campaigns to improve on those ratings. These formats have nothing to do with the news; its all about controversy to heighten and improve ratings. A rating game that is played out on all Americans.
The policies and doctrines of this administration is responsible for deliberate deceit, political trickery and lying to all mericans. 'Investigative Journalism' would have squashed any notion of 9-11 and the Iraqi connection. 'Responsible Journalism' would have taken the Bush administration to task instead of acting as a mouthpiece for this administration of Liars.
This entire administration has used the 'elements of fear' to incite, initiate and provoke a war with ever-changing rationale. The political rhetoric of lies to 'incite war' was never investigated by journalists, just reported as fact. What are the real 'facts' and why hasn't journalists investigated each and every claim made for the rush to war?
Sadly, History has repeated itself. The poor and middle class fighting the filthy rich man's war. In these recent efforts to sway and sell 'Smart Americans' on this whole Iraq situation will go down as a complete failure of lies for war. Smart Americans are getting the real picture of the Bush-Cheney rhetoric of which any intelligent person can see right through it. What exactly has Bush and or his past and present 'regime' of Liars sacrificed? Nothing!
