Article: Rupert Murdock proves he has Total media control

A current point on corporate censorship

OJ Simpson just lost publication of a book he may or may not have written.
He had it published and printed, most likely stocked in retail store storerooms with instruction to leave secure for a specific release time and date. He had a top rate Media Blitz to sell it. The network news sold it as news, the newspapers sold it as controversy. It should have been a best seller.

Rupert Murdock pulled it.

That is not to say I know why he pulled it. The point I need you to grasp is a book already printed, one with a standard, major media, pre-release name recognition blitz already initiated STOPPED COLD.... The TV program will not be aired, the book will not be released...

For that to be possible, Murdock has to be YOUR worst enemy. YOU read, and Rupert Murdock just proved that one human being has the power to suppress what we can read on paper and see and listen to electronically. For whatever reason, Murdock decided to pull OJ's book.

The point is that he could.

I watched a speech on C-SPAN made by Fidel Castro, during the speech, Castro referenced a book he was holding and recommending it to anyone who wanted to learn the truth about George Walker Bush. The book was " Fortunate Son " by J.H.Hatfield.

I bought a copy from Barnes & Noble. I read the covers and opening pages and learned the book I bought was printed by a tiny house in Canada. That the author was a convicted felon and had committed suicide after a major New York book publisher had pulled and destroyed all copies of his book and no other house in the industry was willing to take the job.

I read the book, ordered 5 more copies to pass on, and have never run into a fellow reader that knew of it before I offered it.

The book was very gratuitous to the image it left in it's portrayal of the facts of GWB's life. There was no political or ethical bias not attributed to a documented or first hand source.

Hatfield's "Fortunate Son" , is well referenced and mainly is comprised of interviews with those friends and family who were there to witness their contribution and are still close to George Bush today. The book claims that the author had full cooperation from the Bush family and I believe the author intended it to be a factual puff biography. It reads like the author had positive vibes for George Bush.

" Fortunate Son " was pulled just before the 2000 election. It was actually taken from retail store shelves and destroyed.

It turns out, the eager, motivated, positive writer the Bush family allowed into their confidence to write a bio on George as he was gearing up to run for president was a real researcher and reporter. His book references the story that got Dan Rather fired from CBS. It documents Bush's drunk driving and cocaine conviction and his AWOL status. It also covers his father's actions in purging the official records.

There is a wealth of first hand knowledge in " Fortunate Son" that I always had to hold in reserve because I could never get anyone to believe that the Bush family, or anyone else, could have the power to recall a book at that stage of publication.

The very fact that Rupert Murdock has exhibited the absolute power over print, video, TV, and news sources to REVERSE the media blitz on the Simpson book should make us all suspicious of everything that enters our minds by sight or sound.

For me, it wants me to recommend this book as fact.
