We were founded in 2003 and have offices in Northampton, Mass., and Washington, D.C. We are seeking dynamic, highly organized, self-directed people who are fun to be around for the following positions: Campaign Campaign Coordinator (SavetheInternet.com) to conduct communications, outreach, online organizing and coalition-building activities for our high-profile SavetheInternet.com campaign. Campaign Coordinator to conduct outreach, field organizing, e-advocacy and coalition-building activities for critical campaigns and programs aimed at stopping media consolidation and increasing noncommercial, independent and local media. Campaign Director (Public Media) to reform the funding and governance of the U.S. public broadcasting system and to foster a strong nonprofit, noncommercial independent media sector. Outreach Outreach Coordinator to conduct a variety of outreach, organizing and public education activities to advance Free Press goals and to build a broad movement for media reform, including work on the National Conference on Media Reform. Policy Policy Coordinator to conduct and disseminate research, plan and implement legislative and other events, and coordinate special projects in our Washington, D.C. office. Communications Communications Coordinator to engage and educate new and diverse audiences about media reform through the press, the Web and the creation of new materials and events. Development & Fundraising Development Coordinator to provide executive assistance, maintain fundraising database and coordinate fundraising systems and processes for the development team. Development Director to secure resources to implement our strategic work plan, maintain relationships with prospective and current donors, and to help expand financial support for media reform. Administration Office Manager to handle requests from the public, coordinate communication between offices, recruit and supervise interns and volunteers, and ensure that our Northampton, Mass., office functions efficiently and effectively. Finance Assistant to support bookkeeping and financial management, help with human resources record-keeping, manage fundraising and constituent data, and regulatory compliance. Most of the positions are based in our Northampton, Mass. headquarters. A few are based in our Washington, D.C. office. And some will be based in either office -- or another location -- depending on the credentials and preferences of the selected candidates.
