Why would progressives want to help Trump steal the election?

Thoughts are actual things. We have learned from a variety of motivational business seminars that what a person chooses to think becomes the launching pad for success in achieving goals. And, just as true, if a person primarily thinks about what they do not want, what is unwanted is more likely to manifest. When huge groups of people concentrate on a negative election outcome that they do not want, they contribute to creating it. That's why it is dangerous to offer readers a majority of articles which bode ill.

If we want to leave victimhood behind, the way to do that is to choose positive thoughts. Thoughts are the building blocks of creation.

OEN readers can choose positive thoughts on their own, but it's easier if OEN contributing writers cooperate. This does not mean not reporting the news, but it does mean leaving the reader with some hope at the end of the article. Readers who become despondent because of what they read are less likely to have the energy to put positive change in motion.

We don't need to wait until positive-seeming things happen in order to have positive thoughts, we can choose to reframe the way we perceive a situation, so that we can focus on a positive aspect. For instance, Elie Wiesel made it though the Holocaust by choosing to think positively, even in an almost entirely negative and freedom-less environment. When he chose positive thoughts, he released himself from victimization, and empowered himself. And he survived.

If your own feelings are determined by what Trump does, then you have chosen victimhood, and you have let Trump win. Focusing on the negative aspects of Trump's behavior, such as the spector of stealing the election, actually gives more power to that result.

But we can choose empowerment. One way to do this is by reframing what we see. For instance, I can look at Trump's current behavior and be appreciative that he is making it easy for us to see all the gaping holes in our democracy. We can't fix what we don't know is wrong. He is indeed inspiring us to clean out the swamp and Make America Great Again. These things are true, and they benefit our country, even if they are not exactly what he meant when he said them.

Choosing positive thoughts makes us less stressed and more happy, which creates better conditions for creative problem solving, as well as personal longevity.

How we populate our thoughts is a choice we make, in every moment.

What do you choose to use your powerful thinking process to create?

If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes.
