I read an interesting article today by Lew Rockwell and it helped put things into perspective for me. In this article, Lew makes valid points about the direction of the 911 truth movement and the lack of effect due to the procedure or presentation. This is the same thing that I have been saying for quite some time.
I have never been one of the 911 was an inside job "screamers." I do have a t-shirt that was a gift and I do wear it out to see if I can stir up a solid conversation but, typically, people shy away as if I were some type of gang member. Therefore, I tend not to wear it out as often as I used to. I do, however, have a dumb and dumber daddy & baby Bush shirt that I get a ton of comments on. Go figure...
Anyway, in relation to the whole movement, I do feel that we have not made the strides that we should have made in 7 years time. If we had used our heads, we would have infiltrated the confines of the congress, the house, courts, lawyers offices and so and made this a legal issue as opposed TO a reason to get dressed up and yell stuff at people.
We have Dennis K taking over 30 articles of impeachment and what's happening? Nothing and you know why? Because we sit back and type in blogs or fill out petitions that are going to go nowhere!
The time has come for us to stop talking and start acting. We need to join all groups and have them led by many leaders. We need to do things the smart way and stop adding to the deterioration of the truth movement.
We have a very large following but, realistically folks, how many of us will do anything when we have so much to lose? I, being one of the people caught up in the Indy-mac/Freddie-Fannie fiasco, now have my home owned by the government. I know this has been the plan all along but have been too tied down to do anything about it!
We now have IKE heading towards Texas and they have already deployed 7500 troops to Texas, a state that loves it's guns. Can you imagine what will happen if the same thing goes down there that happened in New Orleans? This could be the start of something very big. Hopefully, I am NOT just a paranoid fear monger, but I have seen numerous instances where things have turned out to be true.
If you look at the history of the U.S.--not just the world--and see that we have put numerous dictators into place, only to come behind and kill them, it is a very scary thing. Again today, U.S. drones kill 12 more people in Pakistan. Put yourself in the shoes of the Pakistani Government. You have Nukes and an army and are a supposed ally of the U.S., but the U.S. is killing your citizens without asking if it's OK to conduct operations within your borders. What are you going to be thinking? Especially with Bhutto's widower being in charge who is for peace.
We (the U.S.) have somehow figured that we can have our hands in every cookie jar in the world. We lie about the attack on Russia and spin it in the MSM only to have "our" own intelligence come out and say that Georgia started it. How long can this disingenuous empire exist? How long do you think it's going to be before a couple of these countries, who have been bullied and occupied, will turn around and attack us (for a real reason)?
Now that we know that we are duped on a daily basis by our Government and the MSM, when do you think we are actually going to be told that legitimate threats have been made against us and are being carried out? When it's too late, no doubt.
If Americans--and I mean every American--can go along in their happy little lives and think for one second that we have not pissed off the world, let alone Russia, Iran and Iraq, we are sadly mistaken! Who is the Angel that came down and kissed Bush on the ear and made him God?
This task before us in no longer about the 911 truth movement! It's no longer about preserving our Constitution. It's no longer about taxes, civil liberties or freedom of speech!
Before long, we (the U.S.) are going to get caught with our hand in that cookie jar and when we do, there could be a button at the bottom that just takes care of all of us and if it does, we probably deserved it because instead of doing something realistic, we stood on street corners yelling out our thoughts; instead of acting with our heads!
