I just got a robocall pretending to be from Apple. These can be reported to the Federal Trade Commission at ftccomplaintassistant.gov, here's the complaint I just sent to them.
I just received a robocall on my cell, my phone said it was from "APPLE, INC", the recording said that my icloud account had been compromised and I should not use it until I talked to them, and to press one to talk to them. I recognized it as a scam, did not press one, and called the number I use for Applecare. They confirmed it was a scam and suggested I make this report. The number the call came from was listed as 1-800-MYAPPLE. Other info that came up on my phone connected with this call included 2 email addresses: service@jacquardproducts.com, malvinapanic@yahoo.com. The homepage listed seemed to be the correct one for Apple (www .apple.com) as well as their address, which I recognized as being the actual address for Apple (1 Infinite Loop, in Cupertino).
