There are news reports regarding the negotiations between the US and Iranian government. It looks like that Iran is going to make some concessions, and the US is fearful of deception and is looking for some guarantees. On the surface this is just about the best news we have heard about Iran in several years. However, a critical look at the broader picture shows how the US is getting cheated and the mullahs get to have their cake and eat it too, and as usual the ultimate looser is the Iranian People. In a recent article I predicted that there is going to be some concessions coming out of Iran : "they will make some concessions with a few smiles, they will give in to some of the international demands, however, by the time the anxiety of western countries have subsided, they have eliminated the real treat to their regime which is the uprising of the Iranian people. They will not give the west what the west wants until they have killed all those who are willing to fight, and destroyed the fighting spirit of another generation. At that point turning on the west is a given. Sep 25, 2009 Is the US, preparing to negotiate with the Iranian government".

At this point, the question is why are they making concessions, they did not make concessions when W was at their door steps .Why should they compromise on any thing when they have crushed the uprising in Iran and they are just a screw driver from the bomb . I believe along many other Iranians that a hand shake with the US will kill the last hope of Iranian people ,and it would feed in all kinds of old and new rumors that in final analysis the US is more of a friend of The Ayatollahs than the Iranian people. It is also a reminder of the naivetà © when Ronald Regan sent a cake and a bible to Khomeini .One should be assured that it will have exactly the same results "nothing".

In the remainder of this article I am going to try to provide the reader with Islamic republics roots in deception and lies , with the hope that it would make a difference ,how ever small.

Khomeini cheating us in Paris :

In 1970s we had a problem almost identical to now. The Shah was in Power, he had the backing of Nixon, The SAVAK had neutralized all opposition forces, any new attempt would fail before it started, and just like now there was not a political figure inside or outside of Iran to pull the country together and ignite the revolution. The only oppositional figure outside of Iran was Ayatollah Khomeini, who was in exile in Iraq and was check mated by the Shah and Saddam Husain. Khomeini had taken his best shot at the shah in 1963 when he delivered a speech denunciation of the Shah for any thing and every thing., Khomeini was arrested, released and arrested again .The shah wanted him dead ,however ,his advisors did not want the risk ,and he was rescued by grand Ayatollah Shariatmadari who recognizedkhomeini as a grand Ayattolah saving his life from being killed by sending the Shah aletter reminding him that according to the Iranian constitution a Grand Ayatollah could not be executed. Khomeini was exiled instead in 1964 initially in Turkey, later in Iraq. Khomeini spent 15 years in exile when his son got killed in an accident. A lot of religious people send him letters of condolences' .He responded to those letters with a fiery response attacking the shah. The shah ordered an article to be published in news papers insulting Khomeini in an ugly way. The next day when his followers poured into the streets, shah's soldiers mowed them down. At that time Khomeini's old friend grand Ayatollah Shariatmadari wrote a fatwa denouncing the events and for the first time used the term revolution using one of the verses of the Quran. That Fatwa ignited many demonstrations and eventually the Shah in his confusion asked Saddam Husain to boot Khomeini out of Iraq . Khomeini was brought to Paris by his students and finally found the platform to fight the Shah freely. At that time in absence of other opposition leaders Khomeini was the best choice. He told us what we wanted to hear and duped everyone, even his closest allies. The religious dignitaries do not want to rule. (Khomeini in exile in Neauphle-le-Chateau France, October 25, 1978). The Islamic government will answer criticism by reason and logic. (Khomeini in exile, November 9, 1978.) Since Islamic government is a government of [Islamic] law, knowledge of the law is necessary for the ruler, ... The ruler must surpass all others in knowledge ... (Khomeini in exile, January-February 1970

All questions presented to him regarding ,freedom of speech, and freedom of religions, separation of religion and politics, human rights, women 's rights, and the rights of minorities. were answered the way we wanted it .He was promising a true democracy ,with clergy in a supervisory position. He put a temporary cabinet together to replace the shah's government. Most of the members of this cabinet were respectable nationalist figures ,which were just as liberal as they get.

Once he was in Tehran and had all of the power , every thing changed , in six month he closed down the first news paper .He used the hostage crisis to destroy all liberals, socialists, communists and nationalist groups. Every one of his influential supporters were killed or chase out of the country. A new system of government was put in place called (wilayat al-faqih ) .This idea is based on an obscure quotation from a Shiite saint of 1300 years ago .It made him the absolute ruler of Iran. Even the name of the country was changed from Iran to Islamic republic of Iran All those promises regarding ,freedom of speech, freedom of religions, separation of religion and politics ,human rights , women's rights, turned out to be blatant lies. Political prisons were initially filled up with the shah's supporters and gradually included any body with a brain . All opposition was crushed including his savior Ayatollah Shariatmadari . A propaganda campaign was mounted to discredit Shariatmadari ,his family members were arrested and tortured the Ayatollah himself was beaten. All this forced the aging Ayatollah to go on national television and read out a confession asking forgiveness he remained under house arrest until his death in 1986. The entire system created by Khomeini is based on the same principles of deception, oppression , and destruction of all opposition at all costs. All the principle members of this coalition of death have followed the same guide lines ,set up by him.

We did put our trust in Khomeini for Six month and we have been paying the price for 30 years . Do you think that other people will learn from our plight. Can any one trust a system like this to negotiate and make a deal with?. Is it a good Idea to reject an entire nation and shake hands with unelected members of a government whose people do not want it ,and its mere existence is an insult to humanity.
