What happened to the revolutionaries and the rebels too?
They've all become insurgents
What else could they do?
There's no more armed resistance
And freedom fighters too
What happened to the people who fought back for you?
Lied to and hustled in red, white and blue.
Where is our conscience and heroes of old?
No leadership around they've co-opted the bold.
Progressive language is made to disappear
Replaced , with repetition and fear.
Concepts of change, Ideas and our hopes
Controlled by religious extremists, bandits and dope.
