U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein has given the green light to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to commit crimes with impunity as he handed down his ruling against an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) motion to have the spook agency disclose illegal activity against detainees.
In its campaign of scare-orrism, the US government, through its various overt and covert channels, have detained citizens and foreigners in clandestine gulags without granting access to legal counsel, human rights organizations, or family. During these incarcerations, fully permitted under the far sweeping passages of the Patriot Acts, anyone and that means YOU in case you were blissfully unaware can be arrested, detained, and now legally, tortured, dehumanized or executed by firing squad. Yes, executed. It is written right into the Patriot Acts.
If you have not read the ironically titled Patriot Acts (both of them, and believe it when it is said that there is nothing patriotic about these acts), you would be shocked by the swath and depth these laws have against your personal rights and freedoms. And they apply to you, even if you are not an American, which is why it is vital that you understand the implementation, interpretation, and instigation of the tyranny contained in its passages.
