Just 100 days into President Donald Trump's second term, Trump has seen his public support largely evaporate despite being the first Republican president in 20 years to win the popular vote. Pollster and Republican strategist Frank Luntz said in a Monday segment on CNN that while Trump's base has continued to stand by him even as the economy has been rocked by his chaotic new tariffs, the moderates and independents that were more willing to support him than Vice President Kamala Harris aren't willing to stand by their vote.
