Opinion: In my opinion California State Government should be praised for looking out for the safety of agricultural workers. I do believe that when an employer ignores this very important heat safety law, just shutting the business down is not enough. Felony prosecution for recklessly, willfully endangering the life of another seems more appropriate to me. 116-degree heat saving watermelons without water=GO TO JAIL in my book.
