For 311 weeks, a Peace Vigil has been held at the corner of Rt. 59 and Middletown Rd. in Nanuet, NY. This Saturday Nov. 22 at noon marks the SIXTH year anniversary of the Iraq War - all are welcome to join in, bring signs, wave at honking cars, play drums and speak to reporters. These heroic vigilers have stood in the cold, heat, rain and snow, standing up against the war every week to support the safe return of U.S. troops. |
