Is this initiative by Tehran to privatize key industries intended to meet the demands of the Bush Administration? One of the main objectives of the proposed economic sanctions under H. RES CON 362 is to prevent foreign companies (including those from the European Union and Japan)from acquiring a greater stake in the Iranian economy under Tehran's divestment program.
So the answer is a resounding NO.
