Isn't democracy supposed to be listening to the voice of the people? They spoke today. Did anyone hear them? The anti-war movement is the most conspicuous example of reconciliation between races, faiths and classes that this country has ever seen. I feel ashamed that my country has chosen to honour this world-class bungler Bush and his ideological comrade, our ex-Prime Minister, as though they were experienced elder statesmen. |
