A federal appeals court approved the release of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman on bond Thursday while he appeals his convictions in a corruption case. The House Judiciary Committee wants Siegelman to testify before Congress as part of a broader probe into allegations of political meddling in Justice affairs by the Bush administration.
