The group has 60,000 members from Las Vegas and Reno’s hospitality industry, one of NV’s largest health care consumers: it doubled down on its criticism amid the outcry from the senator’s supporters.

“It’s disappointing that Senator Sanders’ supporters have attacked the Culinary Union because our union has provided facts on what health care proposals might do to take away the system of care we have built over 80 years,” noting that Sanders had participated in Culinary town halls and toured the union’s facilities.
