Copyrighted Image? DMCA | Critical Path is the most ambitious book I have ever read. Mr. Fuller (1895-1983) attempts to summarize his vision, achievements, speculations, and analysis. Written in the late 1970's at the end of a long life, the author shows himself to be part scientist, inventor, economist, historian, sociologist, and political theorist. The first line of this book: "It is the author's working assumption that the words good and bad are meaningless." I like him already. He has developed several extremely useful inventions, designed energy-efficient cities, analyzed humanity relentlessly, and formulated a plan for the world government and survival of humanity. I'm deeply impressed with his creativity, gumption, and analysis. However, I'm also unimpressed with his convoluted philosophy and master plan. |
