The linked article highlights how the normalize relations with the People's Republic of China, during President Nixon's first term, has been an unmitigated disaster, with one of the worst political systems in the world and China's growth coming at America's expense.
Nixon's discussion to float the U.S. Dollar, has led to our increasing trade deficit and ongoing currency manipulation by China since 1994, which has structurally weakened our economy. One of Nixon's Supreme Court appointees, Louis Powell, has been highly instrumental in hijacking Our Democracy from "We the People".
But it's the current generations that is allowing the legacy of a disgraced U.S. President to go unchallenged into the 21st Century, thereby betraying every past and future generation of Americans with our current poor economic performance and failing Democracy.
