We have the impression that there are a lot of randomly angry, crazy people out there. This explains the Tea Party, and the failures of American Democracy, and the reason why the American Left can't get its act together. But what if all that is an illusion, and most of these random crazies are people who have been hired to play a role?
This is one man's story about his brief encounter with a shadowy world where casual, temporary workers are paid to sow confusion and bitterness on progressive web sites. We don't know the extent of this practice, and this would be a valuable research project for anyone who has the time and the investigative skills. It may just turn out that most of the invective and the most extreme and irrational conspiracy theories have been created by paid shills. It may be part of a plan to discredit those who expose REAL conspiracies.
