Coffee Party USA has restated its mission as: 'Connecting communities to reclaim our government for the People.'

Their take on the 'Problem' should resonate with OEN readers and writers, 'News, information, and political discourse have been professionalized and consolidated into the hands of a handful of elite media empires with morally ambiguous loyalties and objectives. Viewing audiences, particular older ones, have come to confuse high ratings and conflict-driven entertainment with reliable news and information sources, to our nation's peril.'

In with election year propaganda and rants escalating, it's reassuring to see a movement that is all about good journalism, reason, and civil discourse.
